Processing Time

All of our pieces are handmade for you. Depending upon the time of your purchase, some pieces are in stock and others are made to order. For this reason, the processing time for our pieces depend on the intricacies of the design. 

The estimated processing and delivery time can be up to 2 weeks from the date of a fully paid order. Kindly note, all orders require a 50% deposit to start and will be shipped after complete payment is made on the order. Some orders can be processed and delivered within 1 week depending upon the intricacy of the piece and its availability. 

Furthermore, the shipping and the delivery of your order to your destination depends on your country. Our courier delivers within 3-5 business days given that no challenges shall arise (read more about our Returns and Exchange policy here).

Wholesale orders take more than 3 weeks to complete and a minimum of 75% of the total order amount is due as a deposit in order to initiate the start of your order (read more about our Wholesale policy here).

Payment Plan

We offer payment plan options so that you can be part of our Tribe Community and enjoy wearing Aphia Sakyi in a way that works best for you. There are a few different options available which are explained below:

Pay in Full – 100% of the total order amount is due at checkout

This option is for anyone who is ready to purchase their desired piece(s) right away! No-questions-asked, I-know-what-I-want kind of shopper!

Partial Payment – 50% of the total order amount is due at checkout and the balance is due in 24 hours

This option is for anyone who is ready to pay now, but needs a little extra time to complete the payment. This is our version of a layaway plan when you walk into a store. You had in mind to pick up one or two items but fell in love with more. You couldn’t resist and you don’t want to take the risk of losing out so with this option, you’re able to put your purchase on a quick reserve and come back the next day to purchase because you want to rock your pieces immediately! We understand. This is for that kind of shopper.

Shipping from Ghana via DHL Express

  • Within Ghana (rate varies): 1-2 working days
  • Within Africa (rate varies): 3-5 working days
  • America, Canada and UK (rate varies): 3-5 working days
  • The rest of the world (rate varies): 3-5 working days

DHL DOMESTIC ORDERS (1-3 BUSINESS DAYS AFTER PROCESSING TIME)

We primarily use DHL on orders placed within Africa and charge a varying rate based on the shipping destination on all orders. You have up to 24 hours after placing your order to cancel. Cancellation requests submitted after 24 hours will not be granted. The 24- hour cancellation courtesy is not applicable during sale and promotion periods. Please note that we are not responsible for any shipping/delivery delays. We encourage our customers to allow ample time for delivery due to unplanned delays such as inclement weather, holidays, natural disasters, or courier delays. If your order has already shipped we are unable to make any changes to the shipping address. Abandoned and refused packages will not be refunded. Please note, that packages returned to sender due to inability to sign or retrieve from the post office will result in additional shipping charges. Also note, that it is the responsibility of the buyer to make sure that he or she enters the shipping address correctly.

DHL INTERNATIONAL ORDERS

CANADA, UK, ASIA, EUROPE AND U.S. TERRITORIES (3-5 BUSINESS DAYS AFTER PROCESSING TIME) 

We use DHL Express on all international shipments and charge a varying rate based on the shipping destination on all orders. Orders shipped outside of the U.S. will be subject to customs fees or duties. These fees are not included in the price of goods you purchase from our website and are not included in the cost associated with shipping and are the sole responsibility of the customer. Your package will be subject to holding and potentially being returned to the sender if fees are not paid for its release. Please consult with your local customs agency for more information prior to ordering. 

Please note that some shipments may experience delays due to the customs clearance process. We encourage our customers to allow ample time for delivery due to unplanned delays such as inclement weather, holidays, natural disasters, slow-to-ship country rates or courier delays. Also note, that it is the responsibility of the buyer to make sure that their shipping address is entered correctly.
